10 weeks after abortion and still positive tests :( I accidentally deleted my last post so I feel here again: I was hoping to be able to go through my natural abortion, but, as the title suggests, it's been 10 weeks and I'm still getting positive evidence. I had an abortion about 9 weeks if I remember well, but there had been no growth since about 5 weeks, so it wasn't far away. He lured my blood last Tuesday, so a week ago, and my hug was about 190. I realized that it was necessary to do something to move the process along Friday, my doctor prescribed misoprostol and told me that it would probably bleed a little and everything should be cleared in a few days. The thing is, literally nothing happened. I mean, I have a little painful cramps and terrible diarrhea, but I didn't sang at all throughout the day or the next. I've bled a little bit yesterday (lunes) but that's it. I figured everything was done and done so I did a pregnancy test today waiting for a negative and I saw this. I would never have imagined it would come to the point of feeling disappointed by a second pink line. My question is, am I at the point where I schedule a duc? I called my doctor and he told me what he does every time he comes in and I'm getting sick of it and I just want to. Wait another 2 weeks and then return:(. Is this all normal and I'm being dramatic? I know everyone says no to Google, but it looks like most people do after a few weeks, and almost always for 8 weeks, but my doctor keeps telling me it's normal and I have to wait. I will also add this photo that shows my test for more than a week compared to that of today, basically showing no change even after misoprostol. I guess I'm looking to see if someone can offer advice or if someone has experienced something similar since I feel that my doctor is not giving me much to go. I had a similar experience and my doctor monitored me very closely with blood and scans. He called it an incomplete abortion and said that there were retained material that could be growing somewhere dangerous. Hi – I'm a little confused about your post about whether you mean you discovered that your baby died at 9 weeks, or actually passed the baby at 9 weeks. I really feel like you're going through this. I found out that my baby had died about 6-7 weeks on my 12-week scanner, but it didn't really happen until what would have been nearly 13.5 weeks. So there was a long wait of about 7 weeks of the baby's death. I was testing negative after another two weeks. So it took a lot more than I thought. Before it happened, I thought you had bleeding right away. I didn't bleed until 12 weeks, and then it was very light until the day I took care of it. I hope this information helps you not to feel alone. I hope your next appointment is successful in moving things. A 190 HCG is pretty low, so I think things are getting fixed. Your doctor should be doing blood tests to make sure your HCG is still dropping. He had a mc in early October and had no negative evidence until so. January I think. It's not always a quick process, unfortunately. He didn't have an ultrasound, just HCG monitoring. First, I am so sorry for your loss. Hugs for you. I chose to take miso and spend everything naturally during the night. I've been bleeding a lot for 2 weeks. I was so bleeding that I went back to the doctor and a scanner confirmed that I spent everything. My body was still healing. This happened in June. I continued testing on HPT's and was getting positive light at the end of July! I was told it takes a while for the hormone to go φ I would definitely get a scan to make sure everyone is cleared there.
